Default Watkins Glen- May 3&4- check this off your bucket list!

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to run your car around Watkins Glen, now is your chance.
Several of us have already booked our spots at this event and it's looking to be a 'must do event' for 2010.
PDA is hosting the event and after attending a few of their past events I can assure you they run a very safe and fun event.
It doesn't matter what your skill level is, they will provide instructors for you until they feel you're comfortable running on your own.

If you're wondering why this is being posted now it's because there is a special for the two days of $333 total, if you sign up before Feb 1st.

Sign up by logging onto www.pdadrivingschool.com

Oh and we have 8 parking spaces in the garage booked so far, more are available!

Most of us have been on cruises and alot of us have done roadtrips together. We all know getting there and back is half the fun, then theres the hanging out, the dinners etc... well on top of all that, you get 2 full days at one of the best tracks out there for the cheapest price we'll see all year.

There are novice groups as Greg mentioned so you dont need to be experienced to come out and have fun. You will see a bunch of our post this season about Mosport days, but this isnt one to miss. There are already 6-8 of us confirmed with a couple more pending. We leave on Sunday afternoon, its a 4 hour drive there, and are back Tues night.

To get the cheap price you need to book by Feb 1. I know ths isnt for everyone but each season more and more people try this... and get hooked Hope to see a few more of you out at the track this year.

Glad to see guys are heading to the Glen again.....wish I could join you for this but being Vetteless sux! Maybe I'll shoot down to add pit support and try to catch a ride shotgun!

For anyone who is on the fence about doing this event, believe me if you like driving it's hard to have more fun than this in your car and no worrying about the long arm of the law!

BTW, just hanging out over dinner with Greg, Lauri and especially "no speak english" Steve is already worth the trip!

chiming in for 1badrsk and getreal, man every one should thank both of you as no matter of what you try ur best to explain or encourage for these kind of events, unfortunately its my 1st anniv as i was laid off last year jan 06, 2009 and now its been over a year no official job, well i did some as seasonal part times but they did peanuts to me, so i ate up my mod money as well.....hopefully i will join u guys next year if we survived (me and my car) otherwise had to sell car everything and back to india.

I do appreciate your efforts to share info and encouragement, hope others will join u guys for this great fun, i gotta go empty handed yet my chin still up...lol.

I might just come over there to getaway from here, cant afford the race though gotta admit that, However $333-$383 is dang good price for 2 days.

Then drive down, there are enough trailers that we can carry things for you.

What about the On Track Insurance, is it worthwhile?

Next question, what do we use for numbers? Are these available off the shelf?

Correct, the extra $50 is for the instructor because you have not been to the track before. They're a great bunch and help alot.

There is a tech sheet to print off under down loads. Good to see you coming out Claus, it's going to be a great time.

The track insurance is about $200 per day...there's time to talk about that more.
As for the numbers, Steve can direct you to the place in Oakville to get removeable ones, they weren't too much.
