Just wanted to give you a heads up that I have been trading emails with the Sheraton in Harrisburg and they have agreed to keep our room rates in 2010 the same as 2009...$129.00 per night.
They are sending me a contract in the New Year and once I get it, you can book directly with them under the 2010 contract name
What's the scoop on Carlisle? I've heard other car-nuts talking about it... and raving.. etc... When is it? Where can I find more info - can you buy cars there? I'm planning my first of hopefully many Corvette buys... for early spring '10...

Google "Corvettes at Carlisle" get to the website and you will learn everything you need to know - it is the largest Corvettte gathering in North America - happens every August.

Tradtionally, not the "best" place to buy a Vette although some good deals have been had. Hard to really check a car out there so you're not always sure what you're buying. But a great place to look at different models/colours and what kind of future mods you want to do.
Official Carlisle 2010 will be in January once we have the hotel contract...keep an eye out for it

If you're looking to buy earlier in the year than Carlisle, think about making the trip to Bloomington Gold in June. Jack (VETFEVER) is organizing next year's trip.

Tony, I got the contract but need to finalize a couple of small items. I'm at a conference for the first 3 days of next week but I expect we should be good to go (booking the rooms) starting next Friday/Saturday

Hugh, the more the merrier. We normally leave Oakville that Friday of the show at 5:30am and leave Sunday morning around 9
