Default Stopped at Wilson Niblett Today

Saw these 2 Cyber Grey Beauties sitting on the lot.

Callaway Coupe. Can't say I like that hood. $94K

Grand Sport Coupe. Love that colour. Wheels definately look better in person than in pics. $84K

Here's the window sticker shock.

Not to crazy on that hood either, but the color is gorgeous on both. What was the price tag on the GS?

It's interesting, as I've read on this forum that some do not appreciate the design of our hood. Personal preference, I suppose... However, in over two-decades of driving Corvettes, I have NEVER driven a Corvette that has drawn so much attention as our 2010 Callaway SC606 Grand Sport.

People lean out car windows to snap ics. The wildest one, was a driver of a panel van Comments in person, have all been positive.

But, if one prefers, you can order your Callaway with our option C16 hood. Either way, your Callaway will be seriously fast

And our company car

Not my choice of hoods either, however I'm sure it looks better in person. What engine mods are on the Callaway and what kind of HP?

606 horsepower, for about the same cost as a Z06. And lots less than a new Zr1.

Also, one can get an automatic, or a convertible.

...then, there is the 652hp Callaway Z06

HI Chris,

No doubt it is an excellent value. W-N had one up at the Corvette Corral for the AMLS in August.

I have to say I didn't hear anyone say anything good about the hood. It doesn't really flow and doesn't appear to be well integrated into the hood.

Lilke you say personal choice and you folks probably have the sales numbers to differ with my opinion.

Probably all staring at that hood!!

I have to agree with the others, that hood really looks out of place (God awful in my opinion) and for such a high $$ conversion you think there could be a nicer option that flows with the body lines and looks its part on such a vehicle.

Tony2
Tony, you must be right

Look, for those who have seen the hood, most really dig the ultra-high quality of the build. For those who prefer a smoother look, we offer our optional C16 hood - shown on the black car. The choice is yours

Saw these at Carlisle.. personally it's only the gills on the hood scoop i don't like about the hood.. I'd put them on either flat side of the scoop on the actual hood and smooth the scoop it out..are the gills actually functional. Awsome beast otherwise.. I may even have to buy one.. someday

Copyright!!! If you use that idea.. i want a deal on my first callaway!!

The louvers (gills) are indeed functional and let quite a bit of heat out from under the hood

Deal
