Don't limit yourself to just the forum and auto trader. Deals are out there to be found. There is no harm in searching on Kijiji/Craiglist and the classified section in the Star

If it's a 98 it won't be an FRC, the only years of the LS1 FRC were 99 and 2000 (then in 2001 they dropped the LS1 FRC and came out with the Z06)

Not sure the FRC ever came in pewter but the grey is pretty common. As Zedder says you can find a decent Z in that price range. Good hunting!

According to the corvette black book, FRC in Light Pewter Metallic was available in 1999 and 2000.

I've seen a few pewter FRCs out there, in fact one of the forum members here picked up a nice pewter FRC last year for a real awesome price (for around $17k I believe) The last FRC I saw in the Auto Trader a few weeks ago was pewter. There was also a red one in there for the longest time at only $13k (it had 190,000 km on it)
