Had a great weekend hanging out at the Edmonton Rocky Mountain Nationals, 3 days of race car smells and sounds. It was a little dissapointing from previous years with IHRA dropping Pro Stock, Alcohol funny car etc also wasn't as good of a turn out from Top Fuel or Pro Mods as in previous years. Speaking with one crew they said it was a major hassle getting across the border

anyways there were some great passes made with a few track records set...on with the cars..

Ran consistant all day and red lit in the final round

A lot of the fun at these events is watching the guys tear down Fueler motors in preparation for the next round

Hard to get nice shots from the stands of a car that is pulling 4.84 in the 1/4

Must admit these Nitro Harley guys are a crazy bunch of people...pulling 6's @214mph with the front wheel off the ground most of the run

Ricky D laid down some nice passes in his Pro Mod 53 Vette, nice to see him back
As a side note the Security guys were actively enforcing a no smoking ban in the stands as the Nostagia Funny cars were doing half track burnouts
