Some of you may have noticed my abscence from the forum, over the last while, that was merely for personal reasons, and does not reflect the forum itself. I will not get into specifics, other than to say, that I have still seen some of the members around, over the months, and thought it was time to come back.
I know that Stan has made mention of my new ride (2010 Camaro SS) that I recently aquired, and thank you for everyones "congrats" that were sent my way. I reassure you that that had nothing to do with my leaving this forum, and this is why I thought it was time to come back. It has been a long run of keeping up with info on the Camaro, trying to sell my 1980 Vette, which I sucessfully did, and move on. I am very pleased with my new ride, love the car from top to bottom. I have also joined the Camaro forum, whereby, I got a ton of info on the car prior to ordering and the whole process up to now. I have met some great people on that forum, just like the ones here, and just love the fact that we ALL share the same passion...GM MOTORSPORT POWER.
Hope to see you all real soon at the Saturday GTG, and be able to make a regualr meet again.
Frank
p.s. I have spoken highly of this forum & the GTG, and am trying to get some of my Camaro friends to join me, since most of them are from the Peel & Halton regions.
p.s.s. Hope the avatar doesn't offend the moderators, it's just that it's my current ride. I will be monitoring both forums, from here on end, and once again GLAD TO BE BACK!
Here's a few pics of my new ride (pics don't do it wonders, I keep getting told)
Would love to check out your new ride. Can you make it out to Stan's hog dog run Thursday night? Or maybe the TFBM.org autoX at the Brampton Poweraid center on Sunday.

Have to talk to you about being the first 5th gen member in TFBM.
I met one of your members @ Vaughan Mills Mall last weekend, and your name came up. I can't guarantee Thursday night, was under the weather the last few days with allergies. I'll play it by ear, since I'm not contagious
Frank, buddy I am dying to see your new ride in person. This Sataurday looks a bit wet, so the GTG might be a little lite.
Jack
I know Jack, and of all the Saturdays the sky has to open up Hopefully the next Saturday is better, but I will post prior to the GTG, to let everyone know of my attendance.

Mods don't give a rats azz what our avatars are, as long as they are not naked boobies! Welcome back.

Yes ...welcome back Frank ! ...you are also welcome to come out to Stan's Thurs. Night Hotdog Run !
Talk soon
Paul
I'm well aware of the "hotdog" runs, I'm just not a big fan of driving through the crappy streets of T.O. I work downtown, and have seen the streets deteriorate quickly over the years with all that new construction.
I do appreciate the invite, but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon.

No worries Frank. I don't think the hotdog runs will continue down Yonge Street for awhile.
I've been downtown the past few days and there are several spots now on Yonge that are in Construction mode.
Yonge south of Lawrence to Eglinton is one lane.
Yonge south of Wellesly to College is now one lane.
Yonge south of Elm to Dundas is now one lane.
Lots of work going on. Guess they want to get it done before the frost sets in.
