Wow . . . . .

It's obvious whomever built this motor didn't check the tolerances of the block.

Whomever built this motor should make this right.

Have you contacted Redline?

Edited & removed post, because if he's still in business after all these years then it's obvious nobody cares and nobody learns their lesson.

I will say it's unforunate and unfair that Rob's name got dragged into this. Original poster shold make it clear it's a completely different shop.

Iam so upset, because nickolbag was helped me buying my 01 Z06 checked the car for me and ship so many items when Us vendors dont want to ship canada, and in turn our canadian bro rip this honest guy, man u deserved to get refund on this block atleast 50% or more heck why not 100% as u spent too mcuh time and hassle gone thru checking this block is right?

Nick anything i can do to help you man? let me make this straight, redline built this SB and sold to Cand perf and cand perf sold to a customer and u bought from him right?

So cartek building the same block or are they using different block and building 383?

Feel sorry man, lemme know anything i can do for you.

this post is crazy...you bought a used short...you didnt like the way it was machined...and I offerred to help you out having it machined again...and even offerred you 1 of 2 LS1 shortblocks...I have been waiting for your call...instead of bashing...why cant you use the phone?

sorry you got a bad hone job...I was never able to measure it because when I bought the motor it was built...but payment has been sent for a bad hone very sorry for the inconvenience...but its only right that you are compensated for a bad hone...Best of luck with the build and keep me posted.
