GOOD NEWS. Yes, there is a Corvette Corral at this year's ALMS race at Mosport. And, we're all going to have a great time as usual.
August is here and Mosport is going to have to order the size of the tent for the Corvette Corral based on the number of tickets sold. The new C6Rs race beautifully at Mid-Ohio for their 1st running and the Corral was terrific. Mosport will be the only Canadian stop for the Corvette Factory Racing Team. So we should show them that the Canadian fans love them and fill our Corvette Corral to capacity. As well we have some American friends joining us and we want to show off our Canadian hospitality.
Your Corvette Corral ticket includes 3 days entrance to Mosport … from Friday to Sunday’s ALMS race. The Mosport Corvette Corral is conveniently located inside Corner 8. The Corral provides an opportunity for owners of Corvettes to socialize with trackside hospitality services, a private grandstand, catering on Sunday and a hospitality tent. Aside from offering exclusive reserved parking for the participants’ Corvettes, Corral ticket holders will enjoy many other amenities including race programs, lanyards and credential holders, the opportunity to participate in parade laps around the circuit track on Sunday. In addition to being eligible for prize drawings, car corral participants can also interact with factory reps, racing personalities (i.e. auto industry engineers and designers) and the C6R Factory Racing drivers.
Racing for the Grand Prix of Mosport includes Formula BMW Americas, the Star Mazda Championship by Goodyear, Patron GT3 Challenge by Yokohama, IMSA Lites presented by Frisby Performance Tire, the Cooper Atlantic Championship powered by Mazda, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup as well as the Grand Prix of Mosport ALMS Race presented by Mobil 1. What a full racing card.

The track is looking for some sponsorship for the Corvette Corral. They are hoping to find interested parties to host a lunch on Saturday. If anyone has any ideas, please e-mail or PM me.

That's $100 Canadian ... you're getting an extra 10-15 cents on a US $. I would suggest booking hotel space as soon as possible as it does fill up relly fast. We love having Americans at our corraal. I know we'll have people from Michigan and Ohio with us again this year. Look forward to meeting you. The Corvette Forum is out in full force for this event.

Anybody else bought their tickets yet? Can't wait for Mid-Ohio. ALMS, SCCA and IRL all on the same weekend. Over 140 tickets sold for the corral so far.
