Default Corvette from New Transformer Movie

Here's a short clip showing the Vette in the T2 Movie. When do we place our orders.

That car was pretty cool. Its not actually the next C7 model, but woulda' been nice to see more of it in the movie.

Someone on the main forum section mentioned tho, since GM supplied all the vehicles again, why couldn't they have used a current C6/Z06/ZR1 etc, rather than a model that's not even in the cards to buy now. All the other cars can be bought, yes they are modified for the movie version (modded Solstice in the first movie, ect.) What, the current vette is not hip enough?!? A little modding could have fixed that.

In the shape GM is in, would have been neat to give actual production cars a little 'free' press.

Sorry to veer a lil off topic!

Movie was very entertaining, and the "C7" was pretty neat!

I loved the new C7 in the Transformers movie and so did my kids. I actually like the design, a few guys were ripping on it during the winter when some pics first surfaced here on CF - I guess you can't please everyone.

Why didn't that car transform into anything though?

Because it felt it was badass enough shaped as a Corvette. No need.

Patman, it did transform. That was Sideswipe, (originally a red Lamborghini Countach from the original cartoons)

It transformed in the movie in the very beginning, actually it literally cut in half a Decepticon Audi R8, pretty bada$$ scene too!!!!! Too bad they didn't do much with him after that sequence.

That must've happened when I had to take my son to the bathroom! I hate when that happens! Darn kids and their tiny bladders!

I did a post back in March.

Here are some nice Hi-Res images of the Corvette Stingray or C7 Concept as it's been dubbed.

Once they fix the front and back that car will be perfect! Nice to see it again, thanks.

I'm a huge fan of that design. The lines and some of the features are similar to the Bertone Mantide. I hope the production version is close to that.

Just came back from the theater watching T2....pretty good movie, love the special effects and would have still prefered to see a current Vette in the movie as Corrado suggested. Made sense to me but not to GM I Guess... cool movie so go see it.
