Which dealer has an '09 Z06 silver/black in stock? One of my customers is trying to buy one, his dealer located one at another dealer but won't tell him where it is - he wants to see it before he buys it....
Says it listed for a bit over 100, and he'd sell it to him for 84 plus all the extra charges....

It's OK but poor in that it's only location specific. Can't search for a specific vehicle u want nationwide (as u can with GM.com in the US).

I hate that with dealers....it's no skin off his butt...morons. Tell your friend to call another dealer and if you're up front with the sales person and they're in the right mood they'll tell u.....

Frank

ps- and when a dealer told me they won't tell, I said transfer it over and I'll look at it at their dealership.....

Put in a postal code from anywhere in Canada and it will give you a list for that area. It would be nice if it pulled up nation wide list in one shot.

The socalled "stock number" is actually the 5 digit dealership id number...

Thanks,

Go to http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/vehicles/chevrolet/ and click on Locate a Vehicle.

From the pull down menu, choose the year, make, model, and trim, enter in a postal code for the area you want to search and click Search By Postal Code. You can always find a postal code in google for other parts of Canada.

By default, it will list a primary dealership at the top of the list of vettes it finds. Click on View Vehicle Details. This may take about 20-30 seconds to load. There is another link that says Test Drive. For some vettes it pulls up, it's an email address, other links pull up the info that I pasted in the thread.

Should look something like these.

This is definately a half-assed way of doing a search, but it mostly works. GM.COM (the US site) has a much better search engine and list cars nation wide. Why GMCanada didn't do the same thing is mind bogling.

Hope that helps.
Stan.

With our dollar approaching 95 cents why would anyone buy a Z06 in Canada?

Because you can't buy a new car from any dealers in the states without a US address and paying the state tax.

But I'm with you, find one six months old with little mileage for a lot less than new.

Note I didn't say new but if someone is stuck on new then all the power to them.
Like new however...
Just cause I like to look and surf. The Vette Net Cyber Grey '09 asking 59,900USD 1,700 mile car. And that is without much shopping around. Seems like roughly $20K difference after tax on 10% currency difference. I know I can do alot with $20K. Even at that I would take the risk on the warranty for roughly a year.
