Default Ragdolls xmas eve cabbage rollapalooza

Ever wanted to make CB's cause you like em so much? Well, since I do, I hit the kitchen full force

Actually, made a bunch of stuff for xmas dinner tomorrow, here's a play by play for you culinary gurus out there...

First off, par boil a mother cabbage so you can peel the leaves off easy

Then sauté some onion, garlic

Add that to some rice and water, and only part cook it

While the rice is resting, and part cooked, assemble pork/beef, eggs, s/p, paprika and more garlic. Rule #1....you can never have too much garlic

Mash the crap outa that with the cooled rice

Get the cabbage leaves ready, cut out the big veiny part

Pretend it's the 70's and your rolling a HUGE fatty

Tuck in one end as best you can

I lay em on some raw chopped cabbage and roll away

Theres lots of ways to do it, but my Mom always made them with diced tomato and tomato juice, so cover it with that

Cook covered for about an hour @ 350 and your golden

Now, watch everyone eat them in like 20 minutes after you just spent 3 friggen hours making them Oh well at least that wont be till tomorrow

Next up, sauerkraut and kugel

I'm confused. Are you inviting us all over for xmas rolls or just torturing us not so fortunate ones?

Great pictorial Mike. Makes us hungry just looking at it. It's interesting that many dudes have become great chefs. I was actually starting to put a cook book together. Micht be a good idea to create a CFCE cookbook as a fund raiser?
