The "Ugly Screw" Is Set At 1/3 throttle!

Hi Guys, The following are a couple of pics of my L89 435 hp 427 at the Speed Shop on the break-in bench. Bill McTanish (the restoration specialist in restorer zone at Beach Cruize 2008) and I will be putting it into the 67 on Saturday. On the bench, it was running really strong. I built this engine with a big cam, but one that can still run on high-octane pump gas. I set the "ugly screw" at 1/3 throttle. The "ugly screw" is an adjustable screw which engages the front and rear carb on the tri-power and turns the Rat engine from wild to ugly!
