Default Anybody want to check out a 77 Vette for sale in Oakville (Toronto) for me please?

Hi everybody! Im new here. Im looking for the right C3.
Ive spotted a really nice 77 that looks to be in very good condition in Oakville (Toronto), Ontario.
The thing is, Im from the Montreal area and therefore dont want to drive 6 hours only to be disapointed by a Vette in bad shape.
So I was wondering if someone in Toronto would be willing to go take a look at the Vette for me.
It would be greatly appreciated! I am very serious and if this Vette is in the shape he says it is, I will drive out there myself and will buy it. I just need a confirmation first.
Ill give the information for the location and all to whoever is interested in this mission!
Thanks

If it can wait till next week, the earliest I'll be in that area will be on Tuesday. Needs to be during the day, or later in the afternoon as I live north of TO.

Maybe someone else will chime in who can look at it earlier, but if no one does, like I said, I can check it out next week.

I can also go early next week as I will be off for Vacation. Hopefully it is inside as we are expecting a lot of snow over the next few days! Let me know!

FWIW either of these gentlemen would give a very accurate account of the cars condition!

Wow. I dont know who to choose here lol
Well here is the link for the add: http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...QAdIdZ93621527
Its on kijiji Toronto and the add number is:93621527
I called the guy and he seems to back up every thing he says in the add.
I have his address and postal code at home but if you call he will give it. So whoever wants to go, go right ahead. You can always right what you find right here in the thread. It would make for an interesting thread.

I'd suggest you officially ask someone to do this, otherwise no one knows who is going and we all may assume someone else will.

Your best bet is Foldntop, as he lives in the area and had a 77.

Good point! I sent a private message to Foldntop since he is in the area and owned a 77.
Ill wait for his answer and if he doesnt want to go, well Ill ask someone else that showed interest here.
Thanks

Hopefully the owner will be have it in doors and up on stands so whoever goes there can check the frame. Those of us C3 owners know the true meaning of birdcage!

Well. I thought I should let you guys know that I am probably not interested in the 77 anymore. I am going to go see a 74 I found that belongs to a former member of this forum and so the 77 wouldnt interest me anymore. Ill go myself for the 74 and Im confident it will work out.
Anyways this thread will not ne useless as this could be a good C3 for someone else looking for a 77. So at least I spotted an add.
Thanks
Sorry for that

Good point. The 79 I once owned had a rusted birdcage....didnt know much about that at the time I must admit.
We learn from our mistakes.
