Default Who wants to go drag racing at TMP on Nov 2nd?

Since my father in law has invited us over to his house on November 2nd, I figure the perfect way to get out of it is to say I've already got plans for that day, so who wants to join me at TMP for test and tune that day?

I'm interested Pat, Just got back today and BOTH cars broke.
The Camaro's trans and the Vette's PCM. I might not bring two cars to the track any more.

Sounds like fun...... if the weather's good, I'll likely come out, and maybe even bring the Camaro as well if we can get the tranny issues sorted out....
What time is everyone going to be there?

I'm bringing an anchor to attach to your car...but you'll probably still hit 9's!

Most of the guys just run the same tires at the track that they run on the street. I had a lot of fun when I used to race my supercharged 5.0 Mustang on slicks (6000rpm launches were fun!) but I definitely don't miss having to change over tires at the track! I love just showing up, racing and not having to make any changes to the car whatsoever.

Make sure you get Walter and Mark out there too, rumour has it that Walter's been holding out on us!

The Weather Network's forecast for Sunday calls for sunny skies, 0% POP, and a high of only 6C. That's perfect drag racing weather right there folks! Test and tune on Sunday runs from 11am to 5pm, and is $30. I can't wait, it looks like we've got a lot of people interested in going!

As much as I love warm weather, I'm hoping it doesn't hit 15 on Sunday as my car has almost no chance of running in the 12s when it's that warm. It was only about 3C out when I ran my 12.81 a few years ago (plus the car was lighter since I didn't have all the stereo stuff in it at the time either)

So if they'd go back to their other prediction of it only being 6C on Sunday that would be fine by me. Then it can be 15C on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. and I'll be happy.

10-15 degrees is just fine by me! Walter is out...something about it being his anniversay that day? But it looks like a few others might join us...right Lauri?
