Default Cyber Grey ZR-1 Delivered in Calgary

Shaganappi Chevrolet delivered their first ZR-1 on Thursday!! It was flat decked to the new owners home/storage. I didn't get any photo's as I was at the office and on the phone to the Parts Manager!! He asked if I was close by, if so to check it out before it gets picked up. It was the very familiar Cyber Grey. Can't wait to see an Atomic Orange...

They are supposed to get 5 before Christmas this year!!

Don Wheaton in Edmonton had one for the last week in their showroom....presold and sticker on the window was ONLY $144K..... They also have another 09 Cyber grey Z06 1ZL with the grey spider wheels! Now that's the car I would get!. MSRP $93K........Come on 6-49!

Hi Adrian!,

That's cool!, The second one is also cyber gray and goes to Medicine Hat but I'm not sure of the others. Would love to see an AO ZR1 although the temptation to buy it would be overwhelming

From what I understand everything coming in is spoken for which is good as I want a Z06 track car.

That first one was to be delivered WITHOUT being PDI'ed or with the carbon kit put on - the owner was adamant that the car not be altered in any way after coming off the transport. He is just going to sit the car in the garage and let it appreciate(?) what a waste of a car.

with all the stuff happening to our American friends i am pretty sure if someone really wants one then Shag will be able to get one. If not then i think you will start seeing slightly used ones pop up on e-bay fairly soon - look at the hype over the Z06 and how soon they started showing up. The ZR1 is not a limited run they are supply and demand.

Honestly...that guy is living in some fantasy world. First of all why wouldn't you want the CF pieces, put on?? So the owner could screw it up himself? Storage for appreciation??? I hope his grand kids, kids enjoy it when they sell it for whatever they can when he is long gone....some people have no clues.

Yes, Wheaton has a number of them. Call them and ask for Ken Krulak (7804390071). But I'm not sure what you're thinking a "CLEAR OUT" price is????????

FRANK

PS- either way I'd wait until Nov 1. I remember last year GM increased cashback $2K on Vette's (frig one week after I bought)........

Guy owns a concrete company here in Calgary. I heard his plan is to hold off doing anything to the car because of the uncertainty in the market and the buzz that GM may have to stop the high horse Vet program because of the 35mpg 2012 rule and the possible halt in ZR1 production.

Ok, so his plan is too make a couple of bucks on it??? In ten, twenty, thirty years?? There is a minscule chance he will, but will this extra money make this guys life more complete? Seriously, he will probably be so old the only thing he will be driving is a wheel chair. I don't get it, sorry. If anything, buy two, drive one and lose money on the second one. Why you would buy a Corvette and park it, is beyond belief. Well, at least his kids will enjoy ripping around in it when he's long gone. I don't mean to offend anyone, but we are all going to be long gone sometime so this should be no surprise to anyone. But hey, as someone posted earlier, to each their own.
