Well I have drywalled and painted the garage as well as acid etched the floor now. This weekend I will go buy a few boxes of adhesive and floor tiles and begin the flooring.
Just make sure there is no cracks or ruff spots. They will show up. Had mine done by a pro floor guy (brother-in-law) He glued the entire floor nite before. Let it set for 8 hours. Tile will never come up.
Thanks Guys. I am putting the car into storage for the weekend at my Dad's place so there will be no driving on the tiles and so I can just let it sit and bond properly and will have the heat on.
wow that's a lot better than what we saw in the spring...
ya I painted mine,,, kinda regretting it,,,still looks good but the tires did a bit of a number on it,, see how it looks in the spring,,, after two wet salty cars sit every night on it!!!
That's what happens when you let men do the reno's w/o a woman to keep it all straight.
Good luck Mike. You using tiles? Thought you were going with epoxy?
I was going to Epoxy Tony but I knew that eventually I would end up having to repair the floor due to peeling etc. I bought the Commercial Vynil tile and adhesive and have gone that route. Half the garage floor is done now and will do the other half tomorrow. I need to let it sit for 24 hrs minimum and don't want to drive the Vette on fresh tiles. Looks awesome though. I'll need to get Shabir over to lay a few nice coats of wax on her though so she is sparkling and then put the vette away for the year
