with our dollar taking a $#!t lately, I've paid more attention to my local GM dealer.
Here's what I've found and purchased recently.
That plastic clip behind the inside door handle (not the door release, the handle in the middle of the door)
~$6 each and he had a few in stock
The plastic hooks that hold the floor mats to the floor- there are 2 of them on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side
~$7 each and they've got plenty of them
OEM Floor mats (the pair)- I asked for black ones
$50 for the all black ones
$60 for the black ones with the Vette logo in them!!
(I couldn't believe it either--that's less than half the aftermarket price)

I was suprised to find inventory of floor mats earlier this summer (they had three sets for C5) got my floor mats for a 98 at Courtesy Chev-Olds, at what I thought was a reasonable price, even when the dollar was pretty much equal.

There are 2 G.M. dealerships in Barrie that have totally different prices on the same items.
One place will not let you order a part over the phone....you have to go there and pay for it first and wait like a week to get it.
The other will take phone orders and the item is usually there the next day.Go figure

Really...wow. Locally most will quote standard GM retail off their parts system and with a little begging most will give min. 10% off (some 15%). Fortuentely for me good friend is parts manager at a GM dealership and I get his dead cost plus 5% (usually amounts to min 20-25% off)
