Default Daily Driver Insurance

Anyone have any recommendations for an insurance company to insure my daily drivers and my home. After many years, I'm thinking about switching from AVIVA due to rates that I think are on the high side.

You're going to get lots of replies to this one! I've been using my local nabourhood State Farm guy for a long long time now, the rates are ok, I've seen better, but I've been with him sooooooo long...he does 3 cars and my house for me, but not my boat.... my vette is about 1100 a year for full coverage with the lowest deductables they offer - my DD a little more.....
I think one of the forum members is an agent or broker - maybe he'll chime in.....

Have a look at this thread. It's from the spring of '08.

Best thing to do is call around and get quotes.

I am with RBC Insurance. For a 66 convertible and a 66 coupe, I pay $1,300 a year. I don't bother taking the full coverage off the winter; just too much hassle.

That might be a tad more than Lant etc. but I have zero restrictions, which is not the case with companies like Lant.

I'm with State Farm, 2 cars, house, and liability insurance.
They list all these discounts at the bottom on the bill, but who knows.
After being with them for 30 years, I haven't shopped around.

I can give you my agents name and see what he can do for you, mention my name.

PM your phone number I'll have my wife call ya, she is with Allstate Insurance, rates for houses and daily drivers are awesome, likely pretty good for the Vette unless you have tickets. in which case I'll call you to deal with the tickets first. LOL
