Default Remembering 9/11

It was literally at this moment 7 years ago that I was in my car and on the phone to my wife relating to her what was going on in New York City - won't ever forget the sense of fear it instilled as errant reports of small planes were happening even in Toronto.

Of course, as the facts unfolded that day, the events in the US became the focus of attention for the entire world.

Here's remembering the 3000+ people who died that day and especially the fire and police hero's who saved many while not thinking about their own safety.

Well said Jack. Having worked in Manhattan extensively not long before the events of 9/11 and having been in the twin towers at various times, the memory of what happened that day will forever be etched in my mind.

We must always remember it lest we let it happen again.

Well written...

I had just finished the 9th hole at Kingswood golf course...

I went in to grab a snack at the canteen and just by chance caught the second plane going into the world trade center...

I have to say I was stunned....

My mother always said that her generation was defined by the killing of JFK......

Our generation will always be defined by the 9/11 tragedy...

I am at a loss for words in regards to this incident and realize that no amount of words or support can make up for what happened...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people that lost their lives and the families that were affected on September 11, 2001.

We should also have in our prayers the approx 5000 coalition soldiers that have died since that day...

Of which...103 are Canadian...

Pro Patria !

(For the love of ones country)

for those that lost their lives at the WTC's.

for those that lost their lives at The Pentagon.

for those that lost their lives on United Flight 93.

for all the brave men and women around the world that have lost their lives since 9/11/01.
