extended warrenty

I was just wondering who got the extended warranty on their c6, and is it worth it?

The GM protection plan must be purchased before the original warranty runs out. I bought a 72/80000km warranty for the piece of mind on the electronics alone (just because I have had a lot of trouble with GMs electrical issues on other GM cars).

got the 7yr 120,000km on my 08,lots say it is a waste,for me it is a no-brainer.My 05 had a fuel pump fail,very expensive part and GM allows 8.5 hours to change it,

.It was still within the 3 yr window,but things like that can show up anytime.

We have it on the C6 `06 and just added 2 years/24000 km to the `03AE.
Only with GMPP.

I bought it for my C5, and the trans went for a dump a week after it expired, but they still covered it, I'd buy it again....

72/80000KM on ours. If you do purchase shop around! ANY dealer can add extended to the car and you'd be surprised how much $ varies for the same plan. As a suggestion go to a small dealer....they tend to sell the plans closer to "cost" and retail price can be nearly double that
