As some of my closer friends know on the forum, my only brother (older) was diagnosed with cancer last month. It was very aggressive and claimed another victim this morning in Montreal where he lived. I was hoping that he would not only survive but beat this. We had been talking almost every day. I would call him just to cheer him up, but he had lost the strength to fight it.
As i write this, I'll be counting minutes and hours for my driver to pick me up to take the next flight from Bangalore to Montreal. Sometimes our lives are enriched by people and events - sometimes it sucks. This one ranks right up there.
My brother Guy will stay in my heart forever.
Pierre

Very sorry to hear this Pierre. My condolences to you and your whole family. Sometimes life does suck, but these things alway teach us that life is short, so enjoy every moment of it. Cancer is horrible and I doubt there is anyone who hasn't had a family member affected by it. Very sad.
It was good that this made you closer to him, and you helped him feel better all those talks you had with him.
I am truly saddened by your news. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your brother's family for the great loss.
We are all the sum of the things we have done and the people that we meet during life. You brother has left a legacy in all the people that he knew him as he passed through life.
I'm very sorry to hear this Pierre, I know you were really looking forward to being able to see him next month, its a nice thing that you were able to become closer when you did. Hang in there, my thoughts are with you, Bonnie and Family.
Very sorry to hear of your loss Pierre, I lost my younger sister last May.
I'm in Montreal, if you need a ride to or from the airport, or anything else, please do not hesitate to call me.
