Note: if it doesn't say Sold it was below reserve price. Very common as you can see. (21 vettes; only 5 sold)
Do you know the mileage and the condition of the 88?
Hard to remember, I saw so many cars. I'm thinking it was not so nice. I find most of the cars at the RM needs some attention and are rarely pristine. And many of the owners are dreaming with their reserve prices.
I think the 1990 had a "still for sale" sticker asking $20K. Had a good laugh with a bystander when I told him I got my 92 for $12.5K over a year ago.

How many miles on your 92? A low mile 90 would be worth more then a mid miled 92 anyday. Alot of ppl are not a fan of the opti.
My 92 had 90kms when I got it. I'm sure this 90 at the auction was no low-km creampuff. I would have remembered. Trust me $20K was dreaming.
To sum up the RM auctions... seems like muscle cars with reasonable reserves were selling. Was definitely a buyer's market. Everything else was real high-dollar stuff and the buyers weren't there (like Lambos, for example) or interesting, imperfect cars with high reserves. Was almost painful to watch them stop bidding and move to the next car over and over again. Check out their site it's all right there.
Also new thing... International Centre won't let them start up the cars anymore. So they get pushed across the block. Was a lot more fun when you'd here them fire up to move up the line.
