My roads post made me think how lucky we are to share a passion.
The non-club is very active on this forum. The Canadian section is the best because it brings us all together. I have a feeling that I could contact posters here if I was passing through Whistler, or Calgary, or Halifax, and be welcome. At least we could share a talk, rather than reading a post...
We've been owned by a bunch of sports cars, and had lots of fun.

Edmonton has the nicest summers in Canada IMHO, I used to play rugby out there in the late 70's and the midnight sun nearly made up for those bloody freezing dark winters.

It's a Corvette fraternity! Perhaps we can establish a contact-list of members across this vast nation so that any CF member travelling to another province (or area within his/her home province) has someone to offer advise about where to stay, what to see , which roads to travel, etc. And maybe meet for lunch too! I love to drive and love to travel but meeting and talking to people along the way is far more rewarding than just looking at the scenery!
After going for a drive to the mountains in the FRC and having 0 out of 4 waves returned to me by fellow C5/C6's, it's nice to sit back and see some friendly faces/usernames.

Yeah, I'm kinda miffed about the wave, too! Last weekend, I got zilch zero waves from Vette guys (3 guys, 1 gal). The only wave I got was from a guy in a dark blue or black Viper along Kingston Road!
I was at a traffic light a few weeks ago where a pewter C5 coupe came up right BESIDE me. Of course I looked over to give him a wave but he kept on looking straight ahead and didn't even flinch... as though he was giving me the cold shoulder.
Ironically, I had more waves from fellow Z28 owners when I had my F-body. They would even match my speed on the highway to give me a wave or thumbs up before passing. But then again, maybe it was because of my TFBM stickers on my rear window.

I try to always post a thread when I am travelling across this great country of ours ... would be nice to know if there are any cruises happening while I'm in certain parts of the country ... see some new roads and meet some new Vette Brothers and Sisters!
