I need to paint a rear quarter panel on my '71 convertible. I have some left over paint from when I painted my car 8 years ago, so I think the paint/colour matching issue would not be such a big deal.
Does anyone know a good painter in the Toronto area that might be able to paint just the quarter and still have it look decent. I would hate to have to paint the whole back half of the car.
FWIW, When my ex 96C4 was involed in a hit and run accident in 1999, I took it to Davies Custom Corvette in Etobicoke. They did a great job & I couldn't tell the difference in the painted & unpainted parts.Being an aviation QA inspector for a living, I really gave it a long hard look, they did a great job in my opinion.I couldn't tell the difference.Just my .02 worth.

ask for Graham. I have been dealing with them for many years. Had my 93 vette into them once for paint on the rear quarter. I was all set to have them remove the whole quarter and refinish. Graham said he could do it on the car for 300.00. The quote for taking it of and refinishing was 1200.00.
He even offered that if I wasn't satisfied with the 300.00 job he would not charge me for it and do it over at the 1200.00.
Needless to say the work was great, you could not tell it had been scuffed at all.
I have had many other cars there over the years. Go see them. Cleanest body / paint shop that you will find.

I second Woodchester, I have had some work done on the missus car done there and they matched her metallic paint perfectly. Also sent a friend there to have a kit painted for his Bimmer.
