Looking for a guy used to be called Iroc Mike, had an '87 yellow Iroc w/406 Lingenfelter engine, now has a '94 vette or so I heard... anybody know him? Trying to reach him....
Have you tried a search on Thirdgen.org? CCFBG.com is a local forum you might try as well.
There are a bunch of knowledge on the sites, i'm sure they can set you up with someone local.
What kind of work has been done to the roc?
We started off to do a basic rebuild, the origional 305 went bad, so we picked up an L98 block, went with a ZZ4 roller cam, 1.6 Crane Gold race roller rockers, ZZ4 alum heads, 58CC with full port/polish/bowl work and flow tested, 10-1 pistons, big throttle body, fully ported plenum/intake system, 30lbs injectors (too big), all ports matched on intake etc, ceramic headers, 3" exhaust, 2800 stall, 3.42 gears, ram air system, car ran pretty consistant 13.2 with 2.0 60', lots of tire spins - since then we've framed the car, and did some suspension work so we could run a street slick for traction without popping the t-tops, th elist goes on....

If this is specs of engine above than its a puppy engine, sorry to say that, i had more than what u have in my car, first i did 13.20 too but upon improving my driving and DR and some other weight reducer, car went 12.08 @116.89 w/1.70 60 ft time. for this kind of engine specs i would get Tjwong's chip for mere 100 bucks thats what he charge me, and still able to pass Emmission's too, just 3 things when u jump on emmission center, retard timing, reduce Fuel pressure if u AFPR, and run it hard before u jump in there. I thought u have some 408 or 427 with solid roller something radical that this cant be done on mail order tune.
Those are the basics of the engine, yes, and it is a puppy engine for sure, but, it's lasted countless races, an incredible amount of abuse, and lots of daily driving kms for about 8 years now, with just a head rebuild primarily to get the port work done a few years back, barely driven since then, now the car has been totally gone over, new body, paint, ghost flames, cowl hood, custom wheels/tires, complete new custom interior, framed it, new suspension, etc, etc...but now with the new injectors (we're going to go back to 24 lbs) we have a few tuning problems.... tried a custom burnt mail order Ed Wright chip, 1st one NG, second 1 a little better, then he refunded our $$, now just running another mail order chip, with only fair results...
Yes i agree u need to switch to 24 lbs injector i never had problems of those, also check and make sure TPS voltage, IAC, TB, Timing, ignition problems like and above all ignition module is the biggest culprit. I suggest u highly give a call to Tjwong (portland oregon), 100 bucks is not much and i think he is the cheapest tuner and most honest one and had tunes numerous cars. Also i had tried chitload of spark plugs for my dart pro Al 200cc heads, but i stick to NGK 7373 its a 1 step colder than AC delco but heck of a nice plugs and cheap too, set the gap .030-.035, usually we set at .045 but i found good setting at .035 is a lot better firing.
