Comments on Autopark (Auction Direct)

Hello

I see that autotrader.ca has a fair number of Corvettes and on advertiser ( Auction Direct - part of Autopark Superstore ) has a bunch

Has anyone on the forum any dealing with them?? Looks like they bring in a fair # of USA cars looking at prices.

I did a search and only came up with one thread.

Comments? Fair to deal with ?

In the Burlington Post they do advertise that some are American vehicles.
I would want to go over any VERY carefully to check that they are not FLOOD cars. Canada/Ontario does not have laws to protect them from selling vehicles that have been "writen off" in the States.

Back in '98, I bought a used '97 STS from them, had a fair bit of trouble with them and the deal and he car, I won't deal with them again. They get everything from the auctions, and I can go to the same auctions too, but they had a car I missed and wanted for myself, so I did the deal through them... they made very little on the car though, but didn't do things we agreed on...
Since then, I just go to the auctions myself when I need another car....
Anything they bring in from the U.S. you can bring in too at pretty much the same price with a little work, and save the dealer mark up
