Default Chapters GTG

The Porsche drivers are leaving for a new winter hangout. I've read through the entire thread and can't decide if they want us there or not. I think the consensus is that they don't mind, but we usually hang with our own. Which is a valid argument.

But I may have to dust off my 928S4 just to be able to attend.

Stan.

Unlikely that many of us will continue to bring the cars out anyway so the Chapters GTG may be over for us too. Besides, there was talk of starting up the Friday night P&B sessions again and those would likely take the place of Saturday mornings anyway.

I'll take pints and bites over coffee and donuts any day!

I read the thread as well Stan, and feel much like the Porsche fellas...I do talk more to vette owners but there are some great Porshe owners and I like jawing at them as well...Their cars interest me, especially when there is notables with the car (something special)...I like that others show up on occassion with as they mentioned the exotics....that's neat...
I really enjoy some of the jabber, the photographs, the cars, after all it is cars we have the passion for, be they Porshe Vette or other.....
For what it's worth if you can't get along with me then YOU have a problem...just kidding for the serious readers.

Stan, unfortunately some people do not understand that we all put our pants on the same way.

Do you really still have one Stan?

I hope the weather is dry on Saturday (the forecast is not looking good so far), as I'd love the final day of the year to have a decent turnout. I'll be bringing my 6 year old son with me on Saturday too, so it would be nice if there were a ton of cool cars for him to check out!

Yup. Sitting on a trailer in storage at the moment. Been talking with my brother and I think I'm going to start pulling it apart, salvage what I can and sell parts.

Smook, thanks for the map!

Maybe we'll show with the Boxster and the Vette. Just help smooth things over. We're PCA UCR members too...

Restore it! I love the 928S4, there is a nice red one I see from time to time in the summer near my work. He's got nice aftermarket wheels on it and an aftermarket exhaust, it sounds real nice! Actually, I find it's got a very similar sound to the 5.0 Mustang, but with a bit more exotic burble to it.

The 928S4 did come with a 5L V8. Surprising for Porsche at the time. I would love to restore it but I don't have the $20K or more to do it.

This is as it sits today.

What's important is how the collective feels, this is not a dictatorship.
