Default C6 Z06 Killer Bee Intake.... starting to mod my c6z.

My garage is now heated and cleaned up.
Going to start some simple mods to the RFE c6z.

Anyone know if this brings me some added RWHP? They state, 12!
They are a sponsor here btw.

I vote no, keep it stock, there is a good reason why they never use the onboard reported torque and MAF to prove these claims!

I have the Venom/Stinger setup in mine and like it. I felt some more snap from the immediate install.

I think most aftermarket air intakes will add something but in my honest opinion Bill, You dont need to do a thing to your engine. Unless you add 1-200 RWHP, why bother, that car ROCKS as it is.

A good friend of mine who races his C6Z on a regular basis says he wont ever consider touching this car as it is set perfect.

Now your C5 on the other hand... have you lowered that thing?

By the way, holy Corvette tax on that thing batman

I've heard that most CAI's don't improve performance on the C6Z06's because they breathe very well already, although I haven't heard anything specific about the Killer Bee. If you need to improve the cars performance a tune for about the same money would get you better performance gains. I've heard GM left some performance on the table with the stock tune.
But I'd agree with Steve...leave the RFE alone and play with the C5!

Only if that is the bottleneck on your car...which I doubt. Don't fall for the marketing ads

Default killer bee

I put the killer bee on my C6Z back in april when they first came out. It makes a slight difference. I wasn't expecting much but it is with out a doubt better than stock.
