I know it's a little early but I wanted to plant the seed. I've just come back from the east end and have I got a route planned.
Meet at the Timmies/Wendy's at Morningside and Sheppard at 930pm. Depart for the cruise at 11pm.
Take 401 east to Mornigside and go north to sheppard. Turn right on sheppard and there is the Wendy's/Timmies on the right side.
Take Hyw 407 or Hwy 7 to Markham Road and head south to Sheppard and turn left.
Everyone's welcome to come out. If you car is in the shop, come out anyways. And if you want, I'm sure you can ride shotgun with someone. The route begins and ends at the Timmies.
Dirty-Z, you and the east end posse should come out. And don't forget your FRS radios.

I was out cruising the back roads in and around the zoo last night until 1am! I started at Twyn Rivers of course. Pitch black, high beams on,no traffic, and roads cut through the forest with no street lighting! If you hit the single lane bridge on Meadowvale going south from Plug Hat Rd fast enough, you will get air time!
Morningside ends at Finch so you would have to exit 407 and 7 at Markham Rd go south to Sheppard and then head East to the meeting point.
Not sure if I will make it or not right now but will do my best.

I am not going to spoil the surprise and leak the route now but it does include Twyn Rivers. Let's just say, the west end routes I've been on so far ain't got nothing like this.
Mark, if there is enough demand for it, we can schedule something for a Friday night. Maybe postpone a Thurs for a Fri.
And there's nothing stopping you from setting up a meet in your neck of the woods either. Just set a place, time and date and whomever can will show up.
Post a meet for Fri night and go from there.

Twyn Rivers is just a sick road. And that's during the day. I hope it never ever changes. Man I'm looking forward to cruising it at night.

Hey Jon. We usually meet at 930, start the cruise around 11 and usually end around 12 or so. I'm usually home by 1am if we end up in the Oakville area.
