'06 C6, two weeks no roof!

My '06 coupe roof delaminated on Sunday July 22. I took it to a local dealer on the Monday and they agreed to order a replacement roof as per the GM bulletin. I called them up this past Wednesday and the service rep said he would look into it and get back to me. Haven't heard anything and now the service is closed for the weekend.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a replacement roof for a C6?

Depending on back-ups, paint and other things... it should be less than 3 weeks. But, I've heard way longer wait periods. Do you have dual tops, so that you can use your transparent top? If not, I wonder if they have a loner for you.

Best of luck. Most people have NOT been pleased with the process.

I thought GM resolved this roof delamination in 2006 when there were may complaints on the 2005 models. Go figure, price goes up, quality problems don't get resolved. Just a Friday rant. Have a nice weekend.
