Default If you're going to Carlisle and want tires......

I sent an email to More Than Tires down in Carlisle. They are the tire/wheel vendor that does the installs down there, they are also the only tire/wheel sponsor on the Corvettes at Carlisle website. They have provided me with some incredible prices on the BFG KDW's non run flats as well as Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals (Run Flats) for a C6. Price includes installation and there is no tax as they run this as a show special.
I'm not sure if I can post the pricing so unless I get an ok, just PM me for the prices.
It might be a good idea to contact them prior to going down to make sure they have a set available. Their price is going to be hard to beat!

Bump this thread up!! PM sent Greg.

I am in a big dilemma, DYING to get my rims (C6 ZO6 style chromes), and was planning on getting them at Carlisle, but I don't know how i'm gonna bring back my original wheels. I don't wanna just leave them there, and I don't feel right asking some of youse to squeeze one in your cars. And Hemi Mag only has so much room.

Should I just order the rims from the US, (Tomzwheels) ship them to Buffalo with the tires and install them there??

What is everyone else doing who is planning on buying rims and or tires going to Carlisle??

Help, I have the itch for new rims NOW! But don't know what the heck to do!!

The originals? Honestly, I don't know, maybe save them for track days, I just can't just leave them there, there are mine, maybe if I can sell them for a small price, I dunno. Any suggestions??

I was going to suggets that you think about selling them in Carlisle. Try setting up a thread in the sale section of the parts for C6 and call it something like going to Carlisle and want to sell my C6 wheels and tires. See what kind of response you get cause I am sure there are people looking for these wheels and tires and then meet up with them and sell them on site face to face. Another option is to see which forum wheel vendor will be at Carlisle and perhaps discuss the option of a trade towards the new wheels and tires.

Make them into a coffee table and two end tables.
