after waiting 4 weeks for Wiseco to make custom Pistons they told us it would take another 4 weeks, so I grabbed a set of Lunati pistons off the shelf which arrived today. Lesson Learned.

In my business when I don't ship next day the customer thinks he's been cheated. Customer service means delivering the product on time as expected, I don't know about you but being 4 weeks longer than expected means the supplier is unreliable and I find this unacceptable. Some of us work on contracts with performance bonds and its do or die.

lets see, in 4 weeks it will be April,
lets say 2 weeks to balance and build the engine
say 1 week to install.

So if I wait for Wiseco to maybe supply the parts on time, I would be looking at the end of May to be on the road.

That is just not acceptable.

With the number of horror stories about engine builders and parts suppliers out there, this forum is rife with tales, letting people take their own sweet time is just asking for disapointment.
