Down here at Sheridan Gardens (Ford Dr and Royal Windsor)...rain slamming up against the windows too! Looks and sounds nasty out there...Weather Channel says the freezing rain will turn to rain by 4:00 in the morning and hopefully wash most of this sh!t away

It's March, it's supposed to be somewhat decent in Vancouver this time of year. The "experts" say we'll be getting snow tonight, (and it's certainly cold enough)

Thanks Global Warming

Drove from home to Malton Go Train this morning, (15 kms), and it wasn't bad. Slushy roads, but no ice. Just have to drive for the conditions.

My brand new C6 has been in my garage for a month now and it looks like it'll have to wait another month. I ordered it in late December thinking it would take a good 12 weeks or more and it arrived in less than 4.

Snow and ice pellets forecast for tonight followed by rain.

Sheesh and I just made the first payment and still can't drive it.

Little slick up in Innisfil this morning, about an inch of ice on my car when I came out... Drive really wasn't bad, as no one was on the road....

Not really a big deal, having grown up in Winnipeg, a southern Ontario winter doesn't hold much fear for me...

Roads aren't too bad today. Last night was a nightmare; took me 90 minutes to get from Dixie @ 410 to the Gardiner; I don't know how he managed it but a pickup truck had jumped the ~15 foot wide median into oncoming lanes and took out an SUV...

It took me 2 1/2 hours to get home from work last night (I work at Yonge & Sheppard and live near 401 and Mississauga Road)

I'm just glad I didn't drive the Corvette! (my mom phoned me on Wednesday and told me to come get her car!)

Thats strange because when I saw the snow yesterday I decided to leave the dealership and head home so I didn't have any problems. When I woke up this morning I went to the kitchen and made a pot of coffee and I didn't hit ANY traffic on the way. I didn't even see any cars! I love home offices LOL...

I think that today was either the 6th or 7th no bus day up here since New Years - kids luv these days as even those that live in town don't go to the high schools. I was told that next thursday will likely be another storm day followed by March Break. I am so glad that I only have a 3 minute commute, 7 min if I walk.

Yep, my mom rocks! Everytime she hears the weather forecast and they call for a decent amount of snow, she tells me to come leave the Corvette in their garage and take her car. This usually happens about 3 or 4 times a winter, but with the weather the way it has been lately I've ended up using her car about 6 or 7 days in the past month. Hopefully we've seen the end of the storms and I won't need to borrow her car anymore this year!
