Office closed at 3pm...i stayed til 6:30
Got home at 8pm...nice neighbours shovelled my driveway
I shovelled my neighbour's driveway - 2 police officers...you just never know when you need a favour...especially with a vette...
and now....
the wind is howling, freezing rain is slamming down, what's next..power outage....
Location: Oakville, Ontario Corvettes were built to be driven...not trailered
Down here at Sheridan Gardens (Ford Dr and Royal Windsor)...rain slamming up against the windows too! Looks and sounds nasty out there...Weather Channel says the freezing rain will turn to rain by 4:00 in the morning and hopefully wash most of this sh!t away
I was suppose to pick up my First C5 tomorrow in ottawa but they are getting 30+cms of snow tonight, looks like im gonna have to flat bed it back to montreal
It's March, it's supposed to be somewhat decent in Vancouver this time of year. The "experts" say we'll be getting snow tonight, (and it's certainly cold enough)
My guys are still out there salting now....they have about 3-4 hours to go. I know I know...you guys are going to get all over me about quitting early and stuff.
Hey I at least bought them all coffee before I said bye.

Congrats on the new ride. Let me know if you'd like info on the Ottawa Corvette club.
My brand new C6 has been in my garage for a month now and it looks like it'll have to wait another month. I ordered it in late December thinking it would take a good 12 weeks or more and it arrived in less than 4.
Snow and ice pellets forecast for tonight followed by rain.
Sheesh and I just made the first payment and still can't drive it.
At work today and the drive in was rather mild, nothing to crazy just alot of water .... but I can tell you .. last night made my phone busy last night and this morning.
Roads aren't too bad today. Last night was a nightmare; took me 90 minutes to get from Dixie @ 410 to the Gardiner; I don't know how he managed it but a pickup truck had jumped the ~15 foot wide median into oncoming lanes and took out an SUV...
Thats strange because when I saw the snow yesterday I decided to leave the dealership and head home so I didn't have any problems. When I woke up this morning I went to the kitchen and made a pot of coffee and I didn't hit ANY traffic on the way. I didn't even see any cars! I love home offices LOL...
I think that today was either the 6th or 7th no bus day up here since New Years - kids luv these days as even those that live in town don't go to the high schools. I was told that next thursday will likely be another storm day followed by March Break. I am so glad that I only have a 3 minute commute, 7 min if I walk.
Location: Peterborough"I'd rather be topless than all couped up" Ontario

Yep, my mom rocks! Everytime she hears the weather forecast and they call for a decent amount of snow, she tells me to come leave the Corvette in their garage and take her car. This usually happens about 3 or 4 times a winter, but with the weather the way it has been lately I've ended up using her car about 6 or 7 days in the past month. Hopefully we've seen the end of the storms and I won't need to borrow her car anymore this year!
