Jim, I find that right after I wash my car, I spray on some Zaino detail spray while its still wet and then I............no wait, my top is made out of fibreglass not cloth....never mind

I know, being a smart ass. All kidding aside, do you remember Reggie from our cruise nights...he was talking about this stuff last year....thats what he uses on his white T-Bird and he swears by it

In Bowling Green I watched a demonstration on a tan top. The top came out great.
Just remember to read the instructions when you apply the final water proofing. You do NOT want to get any on anything else beside the soft top.
