Default Value of C5 Q's...

Im looking to buy a vette in May'ish... problem being ive only got about 35g to spend. Now I know im going to get slim pickins for this... but i figured id get your guys opinions, as there isnt much to compare to on canadatrader.com right now.

MUST be a C5... id prefer 00+... now can i get a Z06 that hasnt been driven into the ground for that price? Im not expecting to, but id like to if its possible. This will be my first vette purchase so id like to know if im actually being realistic in my expectations here. Thanks guys

Not sure where you are located, but 35K will get you a nice C5
in Ontario. Prices have dropped a bit on the C4 and C5. If
you expand your search to the U.S, you may get an even better
deal.

To get a deal on a z06, you need to deal right now. In May the values will go up.

Move on it now.
Best of luck. The Z06 is a great car. Make sure the car has NOT be tracked.(raced--look for signs of mods etc.)

oops... sorry forgot to mention that im in Alberta. I can see most of the guys in here are from Ontario but im sure they'res a few albertans kicking around.

I cant start dealing on a vette quite yet... im still in college for 1 more semester... and i need a way to get around still, since my vette will be my only vehicle until winter starts.

Personally when I purchased my 03 Z06, I wanted to buy it from a chev dealer and have the option to purchase an extended warranty. I am covered until 2008 bumper to bumper.

The two dealers I dealt with were, Wilson Niblett and Dean Myers. I purchased from Dean Myers. Just peace of mind.

Good Luck
