i'm begining to think you guys are drinking too much Labatts up there....when you should be working on a corvette....whats this May deadline i'm hearing about????
I am trying to help my buddy get his 70 back on the road before forum Cruise In in May. His is all apart and gone for paint right now and I think it is going to be very hard to get it close. If we can get close, you guys should be able to help Frank get his on the road also.
Remember the deal we made Frank, we meet next spring with our vettes.
Mine is was on the road this year.... the interior just need final assembly to be able to fulfil my part of the deal.
You should be able to make it, no problem.... as long as the bank account holds out. Rembmer it just has to be legal, not perfect that's what the rest of your life is for.

Maybe you mean not enough beer Bob?..... I finally decided to put some serious effort into putting the vette back on the road, since my 16 year old (who has never seen it on the road) has given me some motivation. Unfortunately it needed a lot more work than I ever anticipated, and when it was not possible to put it on the road by the end of summer I stopped cold. Now Les (AGVI) is trying to kick start my motivation again but has not been too successful.

I hope you're both successful Eddie and I'm sure your friend really appreciates your help.

Now that you mention it Mike, I do remember that conversation. Was I of sound mind and body when I made that statement? Oh Man, did I set myself up!
Well thanks (and sometimes no thanks) to AGVI, he keeps pushing me to keep going even when I feel like abandoning the ship... so to speak. What's holding me up now is the interior which is going to involve some creative financing.
Just get her on the road and have fun. You'll remember why you started the project! Honestly, my car still has ratty seats and ratty door panels. These are all easy replacements when the time and money comes.
You've obviously seen the prices on interior parts and know that you are required to sell offspring in order to afford a new interior.
When Lars tuned my car I had hardly any carpet and the interior was crap. But after the engine was running right I still had a smile on my face. You don't need no stinkin' interior (well not right away anyway!).
