Default Dyno Day Kicked Ass!!!

Bruce, thanks for organizing today. It was awesome! Seeing all of those cars pull decent numbers was great and of course the sound at wide open throttle was deafening.

They had a cobalt dyno next door...I'll post pics later...

Good food, good times.

Les

So, does anyone have a list of the members present and their respective numbers?

I really wish my u-joint wasn't messed up or I would have went on.

Started with a nice cruise from O'ville with Agvi, your car sounds amazing on the highway Weather was perfect, not too hot but warm and sunny....First time for me at the dyno and it was really cool seeing and hearing the cars run. I was pleasantly surprised with my number Bruce will be posting them all I think...

Was fun hanging with the guys and having a mini mod party Dont worry, you'll get used to it Mark

Anyway, thanks again all for a great way to spend my Sat morning Talk to you all when I get back

Hey guys, just want to thank everyone who came out, I hope you all had fun, and it was nice to meet some of you guys for the first time. I think Eric and the Redline boys did an outstanding job as the hosts, and as usual, it was a pleasure dealing with them. I hope some of you will consider them to do work on your cars in the future. They let me do 4 pulls on the dyno and a jet change to my carb for free because I organized the event! I wasn't expecting that, so it was a very nice surprise!! I just walked in the door, I ended up hanging out with the Redine gang at a car show, I went out for some, ummmmm, spirited street driving after thart! I will get the results posted tomorrow, and emailed as soon as I get everyones email address. If you did a dyno run today, email me your email addy at: bruceirvine@rogers.com I believe this was the order. correct me if I have left someone out:

Yes , thank's Bruce for organizing the day for all. Had a good time, and the weather couldn't have been better. Good to see some members from the Brampton Hooters run again, and also meeting others getting their cars dyno'd. Hope we get together at least one more time, before the toyz are put away for hibernation!
BTW, thank's guys for the kudo's on how my car turned out. 'Ego stroking'...it's a good thing!

Thanks for organizing a great day Bruce, had a wonderful time. Sorry I had to leave in such a hurry. I was supposed to be home by 1:00, finally got there close to 3:00. Weather could not have been better and the food was good too.

Gotta thank Steve for doing the Hurst shifter install for me. It feels stiff but very good, it won't take long to get used to it. Sure was good to meet you and the other guys for the first time. Means a lot being able to put a face to the posts that you read.

Was glad to be able to drop by for a while. Nice to knock some of the cobwebs out of the '74.

So, how about some numbers??

I still haven't gotten everyone's email addys to email the results, send them too bruceirvine@rogers.com

IN the mean time, download and install the free reader program from here: http://www.dynojet.com/downloads/software.php
You have to put the dyno files in the WinPep7 folder to read them.

great numbers all, my son (17) & I were on the way down to the dyno in the vette - like Mark getting some of the cob webs out. Had to make a pitstop in Brampton to drop off one of my vintage Moog synths - long story short, 4 hours later we had hit a DJ speciatly shop for lighting and live rigs and a couple more music stores, lunch at Hooters - maybe next time I'll get my act together but with the usual caveat - not bloody likely.

It's too bad you couldn't make it.
