Anyone know of clean, reasonable place for rent to store one of my cars...
Vettes get the garage in the summer but the deal is the Mrs. gets a spot inside for the winter. If you know of anyone looking to rent a spot that is reliable and safe, I would definately like to know...thanks
What's a reasonable price? Shurguard Self Storage has a Winter special going on $400 for 4 months. I heard about it in July, not sure if they still do it or not. It's worth a try.

Thanks Les...ya, I think $100 is on the high side of reasonable but still very reasonable cause I've heard of prices like $140-160...I probably go through $100 in gas each month in the summer...no wait, need to update that thought...hell, $100 is a steal
I'll call them tomorrow and let you know...just curious if they would run from November 1st to April 1st or does it have to be just 4 months

Steve, I'll check it out and let you know...hopefully they have a "gated" entrance...it would be to share a spot with you that way I can sneak in and swap that DVD system of yours out
I checked one of those 'self storage' palces near me last fall, and they wanted $320 a month , though it was heated, and gated!I'll drive by tomorrow, can't remeber the name off hand.
There are two condo buildings in Burlington, Maple and Lakeshore area. The buildings have lots of seniors that don't have cars but ownership of a unit gets you a parking space.
I have used this befor, the buildings are The Palace and The Grand Regency. Cost has been $40 or $50 a month.
Underground lots are well lit and heated, security in the building is tight and monitored 25 hours a day.
Over the winter months they may have you come in and move the car so that they can clean the undergroud to control dust.
Interesting idea and great info.. thanks for mentioning it.... My biggest fear (only fear) is the security. I think the building would be pretty safe from theft and vandalism but with my luck the person parking next to me would be a 1975 caddy thats 30 feet long driven by gods grandfather.. picturing that wide turn as it pulls in beside me is enough to say....pass

Phoned Shurguard and they only have single garages that go for...are you ready for this....$235.00 a month ...I mentioned the 4 month/$100 special and she was not aware of it. O well, the search goes on...I'll keep you guys posted
PS: If you take 2 or more spots, the others are discounted by 10%...I would feel real bad having Steve pay full pop while I saved $23.50
ask mike rag75 as he has a place that is reasonable, I will ask a place up here if they have any space left - they store mostly e-type jags and Lambo's in this barn just off hwy 9 - obviously lots of security and inside is temp controlled - the exterior and no signage helps to keep vandals etc. away. I talked to them a few yeas ago and it was in the 75/month range - I just use my garage.
I store mine in a 3 year old steel barn out near Port Dover. It's a long way to go, but it's only $140 for the season. (Nov to Apr) I can call if you like to see if there's any room left .... doubt it tho.
