A few of us rented the track on thursday to get some better results then what we attained at the Corvette Nationals 2 weeks ago in the evening. The conditions were perfect this week as compared to the night running which tends to get slick as dew sets in. Dave from Georgetown with his C-5 rag and 385 stroker turned a 11.50 run at 121mph!!! the 60ft times could have been better but the brakes needed bleeding from the line-lok install and we couldn't brake stall at the line without the car creeping. With a current 1.745 60ft, which should be down around a 1.63, means the car could be around the 11.40's. my car was not there, we decided to consentrate on Daves since mine allready ran in street trim an 11.96@118mph in the evening run sooo mine should run a 11.60 at 120mph not bad for heads and cam. We are planning on renting the track again, if anyone is interested in the GTA area, e-mail me or contact me at ontariovettes.com There is a maximum of 15 cars aloud so book earlly and you get as many runs in as you like as well as they sticky the whole track for good bite.
