Default *Will 275/60/15 Tires Stick Out of the Wheel Well?*

I need new rear tires and don't want the tires to stick out.
Also, will they fit properly without rubbing?

Thanks, Les

I recall that Motorhead is running larger tire sizes on the rear...but cannot recall exact size. Looking at his pics, they do stick out a little but just enough to give that strong look.

275 60 15 are a L, you can't get any wider in a 60 series unless your talking slicks. If your talking about 295 then it's most likely the 50 series.

I saw some on a C3 a last year and they were just outside of the fender if memory serves correct. Best thing to do is to go over to your tire guy and have him put one on to see how you like it.

Those tires are 28 inches tall and about 9 inches wide.

I think you'd be better off with a 275/50/15 tire which is a true 26.

How far out it sticks (if at all) depends on rims size/offset.

Yea you could try 275 50 15's on the back and 265 50 15's on the front, I have those on the front of mine. 275 60 15's are pretty big I would only run those in a drag radial myself
