Cyndi, it is a shame but it will make someone VERY happy. That car is in amazing condition and the all leather custom interior is the best I have ever seen in a C3.
It has the original automatic transmission from '76 with shift kit.
It's time to sell because I need to buy my motorcycle, we want to start travelling in the summers on bikes and won't really drive the vette much...might as well let someone else enjoy it.
good luck with the sale, these are just expensive toys and when the thrill has disipated it is time to move onto other toys. This vette is the longest that I have held onto 1 toy and if I hadn't given it to my son I would likely have something else in its place in the garage whether it be a C6 vert, Viper, Cobra or even another 911. So what is Dwayne doing now? too bad he didn't go thru with Ed. as I am hiring 2 this week for my dept.

About 200 horse and 280 torque to the wheels.
The 1/4 mile times? I'd guess 15's with Cyndi driving, 1 to 1.5 hours with Dwayne driving ...

Uh, new paint and interior in 2000....I know it needs u-joints which aren't that expensive but with new toys this year there isn't any money
to get them done. Everything that needed to be replaced was replaced when it went in the shop in 2000 for it's make over. My husband has a book on everything that was done. We are the second owners and the guy that had it from '76 - '99 when my father-in-law bought it, took really good care of it.
