You can see the repair in the top (old) board from first time around. The new board (lower) unfortunately is a dud so she'll stay in pieces till I get a working replacement.
Hopefully it comes soon.
Just to get the tach out you have to loosen or remove all pillar post and header trim, both dash panels, dash, steering column mounts ....... of course all the wiring has to be disconnected and that alone takes a miniature contortionist act. What a PIA!! All this in my garage, which was hovering around 438 degrees ... in the shade.
Above and beyond is all I have to say about Pam at Ontario Corvette Corral ..... even tho eletronics are NOT returnable, she's going to exchange this board for me!

Hopefully I can get up there tomorrow.
So nice to hear about businesses like this....not enough in the world these days and side note....HOLY CRAP on the tach re&re.. UGHHH, could you pick a hotter weekend

And yes, I was quite surprised that Pam would offer the exchange ... I have bought a fair amount from her but still .....
I have sent one back to the US also, looked just like that one. I hope to god the one I got in return works (it's been sitting on my desk for 6 months)

75 Stingray In your "My Corvette Pictures" the last picture of the first page has a picture of a blue 76 or 77 vette which looks like it's on a dyno, I like the colour as well as the rims.......my compliments to who ever owns it. I tried to post the link below.

Thanks for a couple more views of the car 75 Stingray!, the colour even looks darker than in the last picture. This shot looks like a deeper blue which is more like what I have on my 75.
