I was staring at this .........

all this mess just to replace this ....

You can see the repair in the top (old) board from first time around. The new board (lower) unfortunately is a dud so she'll stay in pieces till I get a working replacement.

Hopefully it comes soon.

Just to get the tach out you have to loosen or remove all pillar post and header trim, both dash panels, dash, steering column mounts ....... of course all the wiring has to be disconnected and that alone takes a miniature contortionist act. What a PIA!! All this in my garage, which was hovering around 438 degrees ... in the shade.

......... it was quite enjoyable, laying on my back with my arm jammed up behind the dash, the other hand holding the work light, sweat dripping everywhere .....sticking to evrything I came into contact with ...

And yes, I was quite surprised that Pam would offer the exchange ... I have bought a fair amount from her but still .....

75 Stingray In your "My Corvette Pictures" the last picture of the first page has a picture of a blue 76 or 77 vette which looks like it's on a dyno, I like the colour as well as the rims.......my compliments to who ever owns it. I tried to post the link below.

Thanks for a couple more views of the car 75 Stingray!, the colour even looks darker than in the last picture. This shot looks like a deeper blue which is more like what I have on my 75.

Thanks again.
