Picked up my 2024 C8Z today MRSP w/824 miles on the odometer.....zero wait time :-). Best part about it was the test drive before I purchased with the sales rep, apparently, he never had his head pushed back so hard in the seat while losing his sunglasses. Car kicked out a little as it broke traction but I stayed in it...didn't miss a beat. Almost forgot that I feel like I fit better in the C8 than I do my C7Z. Nice 100-mile drive home in Tour mode.

Congrats and great looking spec. How do you feel the two compare? I have been eying C7Zs to get back in a manual. How does the driving experience differ between the two?

I had a 2020 C8 Z51 and it felt good but not anywhere near as good as my C7Z, so I kept my C7Z. Driving the C8Z today I couldn't imagine anything feeling much better driving. My CZ7 is putting 700hp to the ground. I will have to take them both out and let my wife drive one and then swap cars and see how they feel. I know from driving my C7Z it feels wild and I have to pay attention to how I drive it, the C8Z feels very tame and effortless when mashing the throttle to the floor, and I like how it keeps in the power band.....offers a lot of confidence that the *** end isn't going to break away...even though it did on the test drive a little it took very little counter steer to get it straight. Pretty sure I'm keeping both, whether or not I keep my ERay order is a different story, I'm like 295 on the list, so I probably wouldn't even see that car for another year.

Congrats on the Z06. Yes she sure lights up the rear tires easily…… smokes Em almost as much as a front engine Ferrari 812 Superfast. My Z06 is just like yours and fantastic better than my old McLaren cars . Beautiful garage!

Car Salesman on your test drive you showed them and here is a great TRUE Non fake VIDEO of a car salesman TEST-DRIVE ……….Hope all my fellow Corvette enthusiasts had a great weekend!

THEN they made a Sequel ……love this stuff. One of my favorite drivers after Dale senior.

824 miles, did the car have the factory warranty still in place? 2nd owner in less than six months?

You're kidding about my garage right lol. My garage isn't a work of art as I'm always working in it on different cars or something. It's time for a spring cleaning for sure. I have about 4 toolboxes too I have to go through. I changed jobs once and had a box full of office stuff sitting on the floor for over a year before I moved it. None of which were sensitive or classified materials left behind my corvette though.

I did realize though another feature missing from the 1LZ.....no remote garage door opener buttons to program, along with the front camera parking assist. I need to check to see if it has a 12 vdc lighter style connection for my Radar Detector too. It's weird driving a Vette with lane assist and departure features lol.

12V power outlet is under the passenger side dash next to the center tunnel.
I'm still not sure I like lane assist and FCA on my 24 Z06. I've got them both set to the least intrusive settings, so they don't bother me much. But the FCA has flashed warnings at me a couple times that I thought were unneeded.
