No GM Points for 24 ZO6?
When picking up my ordered 24 ZO6 this past week, I noticed nowhere in any of the documents a mention of the additional GM points or that it can't be sold for 6 months. My local dealer has only sold 2 ZO6s to date. So, if they eliminated the new owner's incentive did, they eliminate the no sale part for 6 months. I see several ZO6's in stock at dealerships advertised at MSRP.

You get a small amount of points but nothing like the '23 cars. I got around $293 worth of points which can be put towards service, extended warranty, etc.

Uh, call Classic in Grapevine, TX. They had 3 at sticker on the lot last I checked. $150 doc fee and that's it. Largest Chevy dealer in the country.

The Cargurus, Autotrader and even dealer website, they show builds already sold(its auto generated task), they also show price at MSRP, but obviously we wouldn't know final costs. If you want an allocation there, you gotta place deposit and wait, who knows how long.

Safety Car
why is it ridiculous? It was an incentive for people that bought a new model and passed up a chance to flip the car for a big profit. It's no surprise that the incentive ended, and it was publicized in August 2023 that the incentive wasn't available for 2024s.

It's ridiculous because a lot of us have been signed up with deposits on lists since 2021 or sooner and when allocation finally occurred due to slow production, we were pushed to a 2024, took a price increase and don't get the points. So that is fair that some made it in 2023 and those of us that have waited just as long not only pay more but don't get the points and were expected not to sell the car within 6 months too. Why? What incentive is GM giving us since we waited 3 years or longer for the car? I will not be selling, but to say spending $175K+ for a car to receive 36,000 points and others receive 500,000 (regardless of what they spent) because their number was pulled sooner (a few months) doesn't add up. Hence ridiculous.

Lol, I never knew they even offered points, haven’t bought a bet since the C5 came out. So for me, this is a bonus. Hahahahha
but ya, I can see others point, change the program and get hosed, but the same crap the Airlines do all the time. I saved up tons of points, now, mostly useless or very restrictive

You could’ve still sold it, what prevented you?

@JJRIVS3 I get your frustration with regard to the six months and not getting any compensation for that.
It was not bought an investment, but others did buy as an investment and flipped it. So nothing prevented me from flipping, but I wanted the car so I chose to keep it. I expect I will have it for many years.

I get your reasons for keeping it, but if it was an incentive to keep people from flipping 23s, I’d say it didn’t work too well.
