MSRP/5x$0.01 cash value.

500k points = $5k

Well, it would seem some 23’s don’t get the points, either. I’m 4 months overdue, and after 4 separate customer service chats, still nothing

Nothing to be surprised about. There’s nothing ridiculous about this at all. The 500,000 incentive was for 2023 models only. They have to draw the line somewhere. That’s life.
I recieved 25,551 points for the purchase of my Z06 then 6 months later another 500,000 bonus points.

Ok- You win and we lose. Thanks for sharing that you got 525,551 points for a car you paid GM less money than I did. I was crazy for thinking this was ridiculous (waiting 3 yrs., taking a price increase and not getting the incentive) and all us 2024 buyers should say thank you and remember "that's life." Without your explanation, I would have felt slighted, but now I'm happy to receive $360 for the $180K I paid. I will buy a key chain or something similar with my GM points.

Simple fix GM could have done was anyone that had a deposit by date X, would get the points. If you were lucky enough to get a 2023 allocation, you would benefit of the lower price.

That’s funny. Oh well, things change. GM was foolish to ever offer the 500,000 points in the first place and I’m sure they realized it soon after they started it. They had no choice but to offer it for the remainder of the model year. Too bad. Life is forever changing. You can cry about the price increase of the car as well if you really like complaining.

I don't disagree and was only expressing (frustration) what several of us felt that had orders placed and because of the slow production we missed out on the incentive. In no way am I crying/complaining (I believe I used ridiculous), but I did point out that 2024 owners took the price increase, waited for long periods of time for our cars, were expected not to resell (not doing anytime soon) and in return, no incentive (where 2023 owners received $5,000 dollars/500,000 points because their car was built a little sooner). Somehow for expressing my opinion in a corvette forum (where we express our opinions on everything including lug nuts), I have been called crazy, the "type of guy that the world revolves around" and to deal with it all because that's life. I do enjoy these forums as there is a lot of helpful and valuable information pertaining to our cars. Who knew, I would also learn life lessons on how not to come across as a snowflake. 2024 owners like myself will NEVER receive the 500,000 points and I'm ok with that. I probably would have spent it on something like a yellow corvette track suit to wear around town.

What town do you live in? Would have loved to see that YELLOW corvette track suit around town

Yep--life is not fair! I started at 4100 on Ciocca's list now something like 1700 on that list. Once I found out I was 4100 on Ciocca's list in Nov 2021, I jumped on MM's list at about 1400 now something like around 600. All of this and I ended buying two Z06s with ADMs BUT I got those 1,000,000 points. Oh that's right it seems like I have to fight to get my second 500,000 points because GMs system of rewarding those point is messed up so I should have 1,000,000 but only have 500,000 points. I can bitch all day long about how life is unfair but we all have to deal with it. The victory in life is to the people who can deal with stuff, shake it off and move on! Shake it off my friend shake it off!

So don't buy the car then if you think it's unfair. This is what everyone gets a participation trophy has led to.

There's a guy on FaceBook in a Z06 group that posted yesterday in comments that he called the concierge to inquire if the reward applied to his 2024. Claimed to have been told it does and that he called back later and got another confirmation from a different rep as well. Count me as skeptical or that guy as very lucky.

Car is already bought, delivered and paid for. Follow along if you're going to participate or don't, I don't care one way or the other.

Life is definitely fair for you- 2 Z06's-Nice! I live in Palm Beach County, FL and was going to try and rock the track suit in South Beach, however, without any points I'll have to look at Jorts and NB instead. I've long moved on regarding the points, I knew while the car was on order when it got pushed to a 24 they weren't giving them out. My point was that this was frustrating at the time for many of us who had orders in and were on wait list for years and didn't make it. I hope you get the 1,000,000 points and put the 10K to good use.

I do agree on the absurdity of the participation trophy. In this case, I lost and others won. I did win on the new Z06, so I'm good with the outcome.

?

Interesting, the MY 23 cars were getting 500,000 points (not 5,000) after 6 months of ownership plus an initial, nominal amount for a GM purchase.

This.

Don't forget everyone was postponing their allocations because they were waiting for Z07 and/or CF bits which pushed a lot of us guys towards the front of the line.

I was supposed to be driving a '24, possibly a '25MY but everyone in front of me kept holding off waiting for constraints to be lifted so i got a late '23MY.

I could care less about any improvements in 24MY, nor having the risk of getting any of the strike builds.

I'm very happy and grateful to have gotten a '23 that so far is built well and i just completed my 6 month ownership so any day now i should see my 500k points in my account. I'll buy tires with it.

What are folks using their $5k towards? I got shot down trying to cash in on tires. I know the points can be used towards extended warranty…if said warranty is canceled, anyone know in what payment form the refund would be sent?

why did they deny you on tires?

Not sure what the refund policy is on the warranty. Besides an extended warranty, transmission filter and fluid changes, oil changes, and tires were on my list.

might be able to pick up a set of accessory wheels and sell those. GM often puts them on sale in November.
