Wait for 2025 Z06?

24x7 access, so you not stuck anywhere, lol. Class from 8-4 and 1hr lunch. You can stay in town also, doesn’t matter. But I do suggest staying onsite because after 5pm, they have their bar and semi restaurant onsite and all the guys go there. Everyone shares tables and you meet lots of people and hang out together in evening.
Town has casinos, bars, restaurants, etc. there is one really good steak place inside I think it was called Stockmanns Steakhouse, really good, but beware, they still allow smoking in casinos there. Yuk! But food worth it. Hahahahah

My uncle does live 2 miles from the strip and I do want to visit him too. Last time I been to Vegas was to visit him. Either way I’m excited to go.

You're "on your own" in that there is nothing planned. As mentioned, the on-site clubhouse serves a limited dinner menu and is pretty good. Or you can drive a few minutes to multiple restaurants that are pretty good as well. What I wouldn't do is try to drive to Vegas and back for dinner, it's just a little too far. We did the school, and then did a couple of days in Vegas.

Oh nice. That’s why I was confused because the email states we’re “on our own” for dinner so I’m thinking can I order Uber eats or can I leave and get something to eat? I wasn’t sure. But if they have something that comes on site for food and drinks perhaps I’ll just stay at the resort and just relax.

Very true.
I'm supposed to land around 9:30am vegas time the day before my first day class since i booked an extra night so i have about 6 hours before i'm allowed to check in. I will probably visit my uncle first, maybe hit a casino quick, then drive over to the facility. The good news is that if i do need to leave, everything is literally on highway 160. I wonder if there's any "entertainment" spots in that area too i can check out quick lol. The perk of not having a wife haha

LOL, $900??? In Pahrump? I’d expect $200 at most!!! When I first went there, people said the towns nickname is Pah-dump-a-dump!!!! Hahahaha. Wait til you get there, the town is very unique, place is about gambling, fireworks, drinking and whatever tumbleweeds you can catch.
Maybe the guy was trying to sell me a "package" deal. And i'm sure the time is very short if it's 900. Especially when you consider the pay has to get cut 3 ways. I only have 6 hours from airport arrival to check in so i have time to explore.

Reason not to wait another model year is the possibility of AFM on the Z06.

It’s already been announced that the Cadillacs are getting an updated PDR system for 2025. I suspect the Corvette will too and that would be enough reason for me. If the ZR1 does debut, the Z06 will likely get some unseen improvements just to simplify production (same thing happened with the 2019 C7).
As for Spring Mountain only using two gears. In part that is to keep things simple for folks that are likely already overwhelmed with their first track experience. It also isn’t that fast of a track compared to someplace like VIR. Typically they add at least one more gear to the mix with the L2 classes.
