Z06, Z07 resale.

Z06, Z07 resale.
My C8 Z06 allocation just came in after 3.5 years. I got okayed for Z07 and Carbon wheels. I want red mist and two tone red seats. I am not a flipper, but would for 60Gs. I want to drive it for a few years maybe never sell it. I am happy with trim 2, black accents, black painted carbon on the outside. Should I go level 3, get visible carbon, or interior carbon? These options do nothing for me, but might improve resale. My question is what is the best resale specs, that still have red mist red two tone seats in case I have it for a lifetime it has to be red.
Also, it is a color override to get red seats and red mist. Does it look funky or something?
Also, I want aZ06 with exterior carbon and do not need the Z07 package. But I have the the allocation and do not know if I can get carbon if I let this go. Any suggestions?
I have to decide by tomorrow morning.
Thanks, please no haters as resale is a legitimate question.

Never buy a car for anyone but yourself. Get what you like, they all get resold. If resale is that important or critical, perhaps now is not the right time for you to buy.

Buy what you want for your tastes.
All I can say is the Z06 market is softening. Plus the past 3 ordering cycles had no constraints on the aero. If that continues, the aero will no longer command the premium that it does over a normal Z06. You are not going to get $60K for it. Only vehicles seeing that are 2023 70th anniversary editions with the aero. IMHO, I think you're going to spend more money than it is going to end up getting you once you do sell it in a few years especially if the availability of it has truly opened up.
Don't confuse me as a hater as you're right it is a legitimate question. And it will certainly probably help the resale still down the road. But I think it will not make it worth while just to spend the money to get it if it isn't what you want on your car. The money it will command will not equal out the money spent on it. That is all based on availability improving, If it ever goes back onto total lockdown, then maybe the equation changes.

Prices already dropping, many new at msrp, and some have posted discounts on them. The days of making a profit on this car are over, or any production car for that matter. Get what ya want and count your blessings if you can get 75% of cost if you go to sell in a "few years".

IMHO, most people wouldn't want the Z07 package if they understood you can get the looks on its own so they don't need to ditch the tires and live with the stiffer ride. Then again I don't have a collectors mind set. Some people buy a car just because it is the ultimate version of the car. Which the Z07 is the ultimate version currently. For me since I am not buying the car to place into storage and look at, Z07 would be a detraction for me.
I have already seen a few ads people saying their car has the Z07 due to this misconception, but the car lacks it once the window sticker is looked up.

The desirability of Z07 is misplaced, IMHO. The cause of why Z07 represents 7% is because of the lack of T0F/T0G( the painted/visible aero) and being on constraint. Somehow that has translated to the market as the Z07 is on constraint because they think the aero is tied to the Z07 package. That in order to get the looks, you must get the Z07 package. But you can order T0F/T0G separately. Get all the looks that the people like, but don't get the stiffer ride or the near race slick tires( which is the only thing you get by selecting Z07 that you can't get separately).

If you’re worried at all about resale, you may reconsider your color choices. Those reds clash terribly and would be a deal breaker for me as a buyer.
on another note I have a Z07 and love how it rides. I wouldn’t worry about ride quality. I drove it 8hrs home from NY and loved every second on lots of different road types.

No Z06 but on my Red Mist HTC I went with black interior, black seat belts and perforated GT2 seats that don't look dirty due to the perforations as the lighter colors do. The bright Adrenalin red clashes too much with Red Mist in my eyes, I know some disagree. Black is classic and looks great with RMM. Black standard calipers were also my choice, I had red calipers on my 2008 Z06 and for me their time has passed. Black nacelles and top and stealth interior package look good too.
