Let's compare quality between the C8 Z06 to the Porsche GT3
I'm going to post a few screen shots from basically the porsche GT3 version of this section here.
I want all the porsche fans to read this and feel free to go check that other site out. Boy will you be eating some crow.
When we see these threads of my C8Z died!
Dealer can't fix my C8Z! one starts to question the car and GM and think wow? Wonder whats up with that? Are they junk?
Nope. Just that they make 15 to 20x the amount that the beloved P car company makes.
I see nothing there that we don't see here and all we keep seeing is what a pos corvettes are. Its not just in here but the C8 general section as well. So before you post about the infallible p car next time please do some fact checking first.
My C8Z isn't perfect but dam is it better than what these guys area dealing with. Mind you this wasn't 10 threads down their first page.
Enjoy.
How's your bumper lining up that all we hear about on here is how terrible the chevy plant workers are.
Fake vents? Say what? On a 200k plus dollar GT3? Hmmmn. No fake vents on my C8Z?
nice lens quality 23 GT3.
My C8 Z06 lenses are perfectly clear.

For the other non believers check this video out.
A GT3 fan and the 992 is the first one he doesn't care to own.
Porsche GAVE him tha car to use for a week. That's their best.

Especially the GT cars.
It just gets old listening to the same bs around here.
Time for a reality check.
Nope just to remind the commenter about Porsche being so superior that the C8 owners who are disappointed throw out there how they should've bought xxx or going back to Porsche Or the trolls who own Porsche and don't own a corvette and post in here.

Does this upset you?
Is that above supposed to make C8 owners feel better?
I wouldn't post on a porsche forum nor would i make an avatar about my Z06 and use that as my thing on a Porsche forum.
So again. This is the remind the trolls thread a direct comparison to make C8Z owners with issues realize what they read by others is mostly stirring the pot.
I hope all their cars are fixed asap and perfectly but the reality is they are complicated machines
My next posts will be dealer experiences let's see how their dealers do.

All cars come with problems. Corvette is seemingly experiencing an inordinate amount of problems for the relatively few produced.
It is as though GM is attempting to run before it walks. I worry about the ZR1.

Yep! All cars have problems and issues! It's just that when a Corvette has them then the chronic grumpy posters come out like it's the end of the world but when a Porsche has issues then they turn the blind eye. Enjoy your cars and stop complaining about everything! Sh*t happens!

1. Bought a new ‘22 9114S cabriolet, love the car. Highly optioned w $50,000 in options. 1300 miles and still perfect. Just Took it to Florida via transport.
2. got my new ‘23 ZO6 after a 3 year wait and loved it but had some issues, dealer fixed them including a rear broken control arm at 300 miles. At 950 miles I had some additional issues, minor in nature but felt like I needed to move the car, after 9 months, which I did. I was nervous about longevity. It was my seventh corvette and third ZO6. I m a GM guy all the way with ‘17 6.6 liter turbo diesel crew cab sierra and a new ‘22 Suburban RST, love ‘em both, 40k and 19k miles respectively.
3. Just bought a new ‘23 GT3 Touring, 7 sped automatic…. Only 85 miles so far. It’s pretty quick and a lot of fun to drive, TIME WILL TELL.
I ll never bad mouth my new ‘23 ZO6, it just wasn’t for me, and of course TO EACH THEIR OWN. very, very different cars.
4. I m third on the list for a ZORA…. 😎

This entire thread is irrelevant. It doesn't matter if new Porsches have issues nor if new Kias have issues. None of that excuses new Corvettes from having the issues they're having.

The point is too many members keep bringing up porsche v corvette for build quality and lack of issues but that's now been proven bs as much as it appears there are "so many corvettes" with issues here.

I think it's because typical corvette buyers either haven't been used to reading about, or experiencing first hand these issues with brand new corvettes before, OR, they feel like because of the unusual price increase for entry level corvettes now (especially the z06), that they are blowing this whole bad quality/bad build thing way out of proportion.
Without a doubt, C8's are problematic. No ifs ands or buts about it. Our eyes won't lie to us. We see the evidence. Doesn't matter if we're reading it on this forum, or on social media, there are issues with this generation.
The only thing anyone can hope for is getting one that didn't come with the bad luck charm somewhere hidden in the car. I feel like the ones that are truly problematic or those that will end up being lemons, are the cars that show problems almost immediately. I think if you're months or a couple thousand miles down the road, you "might" be in the clear. I believe once you crack 4-5k miles with no issues, no CEL etc, you got a good one.
The ZR1 might end up being a total nightmare lol. Good luck those wanting that FI goodness. FI goodness all the way to the dealer as the DCT shatters into pieces lol

I love Corvettes too, but can readily admit their quality isn't on the same level as much higher-priced sports cars, Chevy dealerships are some of the worst, etc. I don't need to constantly try to compare it to more expensive vehicles to make me feel better, nor do I care what anyone else on the internet thinks, like so many here do.
Hint- no matter what comparison you make, you're not changing anyone's mind and have only won an argument in your own head.
