Default VIDEO: Best C8 Z06 exhaust I've seen yet

I've been waiting on this mod since I got my C8 Z06 and finally, a great reputable company has come out with a kit that truly suits this car, gives you the performance increase you're looking for, and helps take the car to the next level. I'm so happy with my kit! Can't wait to track test it...

What a silly video... outside mic tells you nothing about how it sounds to the driver. Not considering any system until someone will do a side by side direct comparison with OEM. The stick catback is straight through when open. This simply adds a cross-over at the very end.

Sounds good! But we need more angles and locations for the exhaust like someone said.

is this the same system that @HorsePowerObsessed has?

I think the stock exhaust is perfect however if I had to change it it would be corsa.

Yes it's the same exhaust, and I don't know anything about what Corsa has, only this and I love it

In my view, the stock exhaust is perfect and I would never change it. But to each his own......

Thanks for that video. I had AWE Track on my 22 and loved it. My stock Z06 in Track mode is just as loud. Not sure I'm going to change it. If I do, it will be AWE.

I love my stock exhaust, but once I put this on, it definitely changed the game

You're clearly schilling for AWE and you don't post an apples to apples comparison. You're using an external mic to make the AWE sound louder.

I’d also like to hear a direct comparison as I have my doubts the sound difference is worth the cost, but I do have to say I really like the larger exhaust tips of this AWE system.

I'm literally a one man show, i'm not sure how you all want me to just come out of thin air with a 2nd c8z just for your enjoyment.

this has got to be probably one of the most ridiculous comments I've ever seen. Any body doing a video on exhaust should always use an external mic. That's the only way to truly get the sound of the exhaust without any other barriers or anything else making it sound different. The way I set it up, gives you the full exhaust note without any wind noise or anything, making it sound different than what it truly is. but I guess you want me to find a way to fake the noise or something ?

Last I checked you don't ride on the rear bumper... you drive inside the car. Post again when you've done a proper comparison to OEM that none of the mfgs seem to want to do.

Last I checked the sound you hear in the cabin is not the sound the 8 billion people in the world here when you fly by. So why would I give you the sound of the inside cabin only? Especially when the sound in the inside cabin is piped in thru artificial means from the factory? I didn't buy the exhaust to change the inside cabin noise, I bought it, so it could sound amazing on the outside. Once again, what you're asking for is absolutely ridiculous. I've never heard any car enthusiast ever request what you're requesting.

Don't worry about the malcontents, brother. Pragmatics, particularly on line, are lost on the many. Keep doin' your thing...

Of course the audio signature is going to be different than stock. It's simple physics of sound - whether that is discernable by an individual or not is due to many factors, but it is reasonable to expect a different sound if one exhaust system has a cross-over pipe and another does not.

I feel like I'm in the upside-down. Your responses are absurd. To say you change the exhaust to please the public is just silly. You change the exhaust to affect the driving experience and how you feel driving the car. The sound inside the cabin to the driver is the most key metric. You've purposefully used an external mic for the AWE portion to enhance the sound.

Prospective customers want an apples to apples comparison of OEM vs. the product. Nobody has provided that at all. The OEM exhaust is 100% straight through with the valves open. No amount of muffler tuning will change that. I'd wager there's little to no sound change from OEM which is why they won't show a direct track mode to track mode comparison.
