Those were our two colour choices as well but in the end we decided to go with red mist with black interior. We've been pretty unanimous with our colour choices over the years. The metallic reds have taken over lately. Once we take delivery of the Z06, three of the five cars will be a shade of metallic red. The other two are blue and grey, both Corvettes.

My wife has her own performance vehicle and really couldn't care less with what mine look like. That said, Red Mist > HSG, though I don't like either of the builds above. Pick a primary color and 1 accent color.

Sitting at the dinner table my wife said to me....you really like the new C8, don't you. I said yes, I placed a deposit on one 3 months ago. Her answer was.....well it better be red....see my avatar....I had already chosen red anyway....lol....for me it would be Red Mist, for what it's worth....good luck with your decision....

I was in a similar position, I was leaning HSG since my stingray had been red mist. My Z06 is red mist.

There is someone in the same city as me with the HSG / Black + Red interior, and it looks amazing. HSG on the Z06 is pretty killer and makes the lines of the car look really sharp.

Nobody should buy greys, whites, blacks, or silvers in my opinion on a sports car. They're incredibly boring colour choices.

Red Mist isn't in your face and with two tone natural interior it works really well.

Lose the stripes and every single one of those builds gets better. The Hypersonic over natural tan with yellow accents is particularly terrible.

I wanted yellow (but there really is not a real yellow), and my wife liked HG, which she felt was more dignified and mature. I wanted to remain a kid, but she was right, the color works. .
As for my wife's "driving", she has a 2010 Maserati bought new that she absolutely loves, and now has a whopping 7.000 miles on it! We bought a Jeep years ago for our first dog, a second jeep, and now own a Audi Q7 to haul our latest dog (big dogs). She has driven thousands of miles in these cars. "We" have several cars including a Huracan and 458, CTV 5 Black wing, etc., she never touches. She can does for some reason, only known to her, she never grabs the keys.
